The cost of the workshop is $60.00.
This spring’s topics are:
- Art & Nature Writing
- Writing from Personal Experience
- Visualization
- Theater Sports
- Mystery Stories
- Science Fiction Stories
- Short Stories
- Fantasy Stories
- Scriptwriting
- Poetry
- Dialogue & Characterization
- College Application Essay Writing (open to grades 10-12 ONLY)
For Parents
Parents are invited to attend a discussion on writing as a family. This discussion is free of charge and will take place from 11:50 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on all three dates. There is no need to notify us in advance if you wish to attend this discussion.
Paid Parents’ Workshop
In addition, we are offering parents the opportunity to participate in a writing workshop. OnFebruary 28, the topic will be Writing from Personal Experience. On March 14, the topic will be Poetry, and March 28, the topic will be Fiction. The Paid Parents’ Workshop will take place from 10:20 a.m. to 11:40 a.m. on all three dates, and costs $20.00.
Please Note:
The deadline for registering for the February 28 workshop is February 19th. The deadline for registering for the March workshops is March 2nd. Registration is on a first come, first served basis. The workshops invariably fill up well in advance of the registration deadline, so get yours in early.
Because space is limited and demand is high, we ask that you register for only one date. Registrations for more than one date will not be accepted; we will ask you to choose just one.
If you are registering more than one student, you must complete a separate registration for each one.
To Register
You may register online or through the mail.
Click here to download a printable registration form (PDF format). Please be sure to include your check, as a form alone does not reserve a space in the workshop.
Click here to register online. Please note that online registrations are not refundable. If your student is unable to attend, we will make every effort to schedule him or her into a later workshop.
Online registration for all three workshops is now closed. This ensures that those who are mailing their registrations in also have a chance to get a space in the workshop. You may still mail in a registration form, but get it in quickly and please mark a second-choice date.
