Nominate a Teacher

Each summer the NVWP seeks out excellent teachers for its Invitational Summer Institutes (ISI). To gather together the strongest group of teachers possible each summer we ask for nominations from NVWP Teacher Consultants, parents of students who participate in our young writers programs, our colleagues in administrative positions, and university faculty members. When you nominate a teacher to participate in the ISI you are providing a teacher with an opportunity to take his/her teaching practice, writing, and professional life to the next level, and helping to foster the next generation of teacher-leaders. When we receive teacher nominations we follow them up by contacting the teacher and inviting them to apply for the Invitational Summer Institute.  (You are not obligating them in any way.)  We encourage nominations of teachers from any subject area and any grade level, in public or private schools.
